Agave Almond Butter and a Blendtec Giveaway

Agave Almond Butter and a Blendtec Giveaway by EclecticRecipes.com #recipe

I’ve been wanting to try making my own nut butters for quite some time now, but was afraid that my old food processor wouldn’t be able to handle the task. So when I got the opportunity to try a Blendtec blender, along with their new twister jar, I knew I just had to make a nut butter.

Agave Almond Butter and a Blendtec Giveaway by EclecticRecipes.com #recipe

Since I had lots of snacking almonds around the house, I wanted to try an almond butter first. For this almond butter, I just used salted and roasted almonds from my grocer along with a tablespoon full of agave nectar for a touch of sweetness. It took all of 60 seconds to make this in the Blendtec, and believe me when I say this almond butter is better than just about anything. I can’t wait to make even more nut butters!

This almond butter can also be made in a good  food processor.

You can see more about Blendtec’s new Twister Jar in the video below. It’s truly an amazing piece, capable of handling the toughest blends like nut butters, hummus, baby foods, pestos and more.

We’ve been making lots of juices and smoothies with the blender too. It makes the most fantastic carrot juice. This blender will pulverize a carrot (along with some water and ice) to nothing. The little bits of carrot are blended into the tiniest particles. You can barely even notice them, but you still get all the benefits of fiber, something that is lost with a traditional juicer.

The recipe book that’s included has a ton of healthy juice and smoothie recipes, perfect for breakfasts and snacks during the day. The book also has a ton of other recipes for baked goods, sauces, soups, ice cream, salsas and so much more.

The large jar on this Blendtec blender has a precision 4″ blade package, which means smoother blends in less time! The motor is incredible powerful, and much quieter than I had expected.

More Reasons This Is My New Favorite Blender

Commercial Quality
For years coffee shops, juice bars, gyms, and restaurants have used Blendtec machines with the 4″ blade around the world. Blendtec is known for producing the best, most consistent results in taste and texture.

Blend Cycles
The Total Blender Classic Series® comes with their exclusive Smart-Touch Tec-nology™ which means when a cycle button is pushed, the blender automatically speeds up and slows down, then shuts off when the cycle is complete, so recipes turn out perfect every time.

Plenty of Power
This blender has 1560 Watts of power!  It can turn ice to snow and actually comes with an Ice-Crushing Guarantee!

Now time for the Giveaway!

Walking through calf high water could also be labeled
    as roughing it in the outdoors. Burgers on the BBQ;
ribs being grilled by the pool; or a steak on a charcoal grill while camping – these are some of the iconic images of summer we are all familiar with.
This means that the qualities of the products that are released
go higher and higher, while the price of old products can
    only go down.
