I was thinking of grabbing some puff pastry and making an apple galette because I didn’t have a decent recipe. Thanks for posting this. The alcohol is a great tip. All manner of baked apple treats are my favorite for fall. Can wait to taste some.

Love anything made with apples. Don’t have a lot of experience with pie crust. This would be easier to do.(I can’t seem to crimp mine correctly. They’re not very pretty.) Could use my homemade apple jelly, too.
