French Red Onion Soup

Have you ever thought about making French onion soup with red onions? I did, and finally decided to give it a whirl. I also added red wine and some more strong flavors like balsamic vinegar. It was amazing and well worth trying.  You can find my recipe for French Red Onion Soup at the Family Kitchen.

Well, no actually, I haven’t ever thought of it…but I like the idea and really like your additions of red wine and balsamic vinegar. One thing that fascinates me about cooking is that the more you cook, the more adventurous your ideas become. You are cooking more than ever and it’s so cool to see what you’re coming up with! I always read your recipe ideas through other vehicles these days (email, fb, babble) so I feel like I never come visit you anymore. I need to start coming back to your blog. It feels more like a real visit. Hope you’re well!!
