Garlic Mashed Potatoes Baby Food
There is nothing more comforting than mashed potatoes. Adding a bit of garlic makes them irresitable!
Garlic mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 lb. idaho or golden potatoes
- 1 clove garlic
Method
- Peel and cut the potatoes in uniform pieces. Then place the potatoes and garlic into a saucepan and add just enough water to cover. Bring to boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium and continue to cook until very tender.
- Then remove from heat and use a submersible blender to puree. Pureeing can also be done in batches in the blender. Let mixture cool, then poor into ice cube trays, be careful not to overfill individual ice cube compartments. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight, then you can store each baby food cube in zippered freezer bags.
