Honey Mustard Chicken and Veggie Kabobs

This summer I am truly excited to be partnering with a company that provides my family with one of our key pantry items, French’s Yellow Mustard. It’s an item we use almost everyday, and something I would be lost in the kitchen without. Tangy yellow mustard is an essential ingredient to our lunch sandwiches. I love how it adds that wonderful, unmistakable tang to foods you love.

French’s Yellow Mustard is not only the perfect condiment to sandwiches, hot dogs and burgers, but it also brings out the flavor to everyday recipes. I love to add a few teaspoons of mustard to my potato salad, egg salad and tuna salad. It also makes some flavorful marinades and tangy salad dressing too. I always have a jar of homemade honey mustard vinaigrette in my fridge!

My favorite recipes that include mustard though are anything honey mustard. Whether it’s homemade chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce, or something a little more grown-up like these kabobs, honey mustard is a flavor I just can’t resist.

I also love that French’s Yellow Mustard is 100% natural yellow mustard. Unlike some other mustards, there’s nothing artificial – no preservatives, fillers or thickeners. It’s crafted with only the highest quality, stone ground, #1 grade, whole mustard seeds and select herbs and spices (including turmeric). It’s also gluten free and kosher … and it has 0 calories! It makes the perfect ingredient in this simple recipe of fresh chicken and vegetables.

For these kabobs, I just took some fresh summer vegetables and fresh chicken breasts and skewered it. Then I brushed the kabobs with my honey mustard glaze and placed them on the grill. They only take a few minutes to get a nice char, and they are all done.

These kabobs were a big hit with my family. My son went crazy for them, he even loved the squash side it tasted so much like the honey mustard glaze. But really, who can resist food on a stick, especially when it’s grilled! I served them with just a simple salad wand dinner was done!
