Red Cabbage Salad with Cranberries

Here is a healthy alternative to those calorie laden side dishes on Thanksgiving, red cabbage salad. It has a sweet and sour flavor from agave and vinegar. I added dried cranberries and garnished it with fresh apples. It’s amazingly simple and a  perfect make ahead dish, because it’s so much tastier after marinating in the fridge for a day. You can find my red cabbage salad with cranberries at the family kitchen.

Wonderful! I’m all about having at least one healthy option at the Thanksgiving table. You can only handle so much turkey and butter! Thank you for sharing this bright and vibrant salad. I hope you have a wonderful evening!

This sounds really interesting. I have only had red cabbage shredded in green salads, so I’d like to give this a try. The cranberries definitely make it perfect for Thanksgiving.
