I have just recently discovered the joy of salted caramel and chocolate, and I can’t believe what joy I was missing.

Salted Caramel Skillet Brownie

Ingredients:

1 box (1 lb 2.4 oz) Betty Crocker™ Original Supreme Premium brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
1/2 cup caramel topping
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

Directions:

Heat oven to 325°F. Spray 10- to 12-inch cast-iron skillet with cooking spray. Make brownie mix as directed on box, using water, oil and egg. Pour batter into skillet.

Bake 35 to 37 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes.

Pour caramel topping over brownie. Sprinkle with salt. Cut into 8 wedges. Serve warm.
