BBQ Puff Pastry Appetizers

bbq pork puff pastries

Spring is here and feels so great! I love seeing all the beautiful flowers in bloom in our neighborhood. My daughter loves all the pretty flowers too. She spent Saturday with me running through the plant nursery, chasing butterflies and smelling the pretty flowers.

Spring is also a time to enjoy playing sports with the kids. My son loves to play flag football and baseball in the spring and we love to watch simply and cheer him on! It’s so much fun to enjoy kids sports when the weather is nice like it is now.

When we’re not cheering my son on at his games or practices, we love to spend time cheering on our favorite teams at home. Celebrating big game days at home with friends and family are the best. I make our favorite game day appetizers and foods and we have a blast!

I have lots of fun appetizers that I make for big game days and they all have one thing in common, they are super quick and easy to make! The one thing that I have learned about entertaining is that you’ve got to keep it simple, especially on game day!

How to make BBQ Puff Pastry Appetizers

To start this recipe, I bake some puff pastry shells in the oven until they’re nice and golden brown.

Then I pop out those little tops so I can fill up the shells.

Next I just fill the shells with Curly’s Pulled Pork

Then I top with a little homemade coleslaw. I make my coleslaw with thinly sliced cabbage, carrot and red onion and mix it with a little mayo, vinegar, pepper and celery salt.
