You’ll love this simple recipe for BBQ Stuffed Jalapeños. They take no time at all and require just 3 ingredients!
The weather is cooling and fall is in the air. It’s such a wonderful time of year! It’s time for football, tailgating, and yummy delicious tailgating foods! My family is absolutely crazy about all tailgating foods, especially when they’re spicy like these yummy stuffed jalapeños.
Instead of stuffing these jalapeños with cheese though, I opted for pulled pork, and the results were absolutely amazing! I first removed the ribs and seeds of the jalapeños so they weren’t too hot, and then filled them with Curly’s Pulled Pork.
Curly’s Pulled Pork is my very favorite pre-made pulled pork. It’s not too sweet, smoky and just plain irresistible. You can make a quick weeknight dinner with it in sandwiches or get creative and make something fun like these stuffed jalapeños!
These are so simple to make too, it takes just three ingredients!
First you find some latex or vinyl gloves so you’re protected from the hot pepper heat. If you don’t have gloves (I know I never do) just slather your hands in olive or vegetable oil. This will allow the hot pepper stuff to easily wash from your hands.
After you have halved the jalapeños, just place them on a greased cookie sheet. Then fill them with Curly’s Pulled Pork.
Next, just top them with a little shredded cheese, and then pop them in the oven for 10 – 15 minutes. You want to get the cheese lightly browned, and make the peppers tender crisp.
When they come out, the peppers will still be vibrant and crisp, just slightly cooked.
These peppers are amazing with their fresh jalapeño crunch, smoky BBQ flavor and cheesy goodness. Since we took out the ribs and seeds of the jalapeños, they’re not too hot either. Just perfection! Watch everyone gobble these up fast! You might want to double or triple the recipe!
