This is a super easy party favorite recipe that takes just 4 ingredients and is sure to impress friends and family!
This weekend was our first bit of cooler weather here in Florida. It feels so good and is such a welcome change from our daytime high in the 80’s. It’s gotten cold enough the past few nights that we were able to make a fire in the fireplace and enjoy the warmth. Although it’s still not old enough to not want to grill. We love to grill at least once a week year round in our home.
Today I made these easy BBQ Stuffed Portobellos Mushrooms because we had a few friends over in the afternoon. These are super impressive to make, but so easy too. I just serve them with a simple salad and diner is done! I made these on the grill, but you can also easily make them in the oven.
They are so easy and delicious and did I mention that they take just 4 ingredients to make? You first start with heating the Curly’s BBQ Beef according to package directions. I like to start with heated BBQ so that everything cooks faster.
While the BBQ is heating, prepare the portobello mushrooms by removing the gills and stems. Then place on the grill and grill over high heat until tender, about 10 minutes. Then fill the mushrooms with the heated Curly’s BBQ Beef.
Next top with the shredded mozzarella cheese and close the grill lid. Continue to cook over medium high heat until cheese has melted and lightly browned.
Here I have just garnished with a little freshly chopped Italian parsley to make them look fancy. It’s completely optional, but does make them look more visually appealing to your party guests!
This recipe is just for 2 servings, but can be easily doubled and tripled. Just remember each package of Curly’s Pulled Beef fills only 2 portobello mushroom caps.
I used Curly’s Pulled Beef for this fun recipe. It’s my favorite brand of pre-packaged BBQ and such a versatile product to have on hand. There’s all kinds of fun family recipes you can make with Curly’s BBQ like this simple recipe. You can find Curly’s BBQ in your grocer’s meat case. Be sure to pick some up on your next shopping trip!
