My son’s summer vacation is quickly coming to an end. It’s flown by so quickly. We’ve tried to do as much fun summer things with him as possible like going to the river, the beach, the lake, the water parks, the amusement parks and movies. This past weekend I caught up on some much needed cleaning and yesterday afternoon we went to see Turbo. It was such a fun movie! This little snail wants nothing more in the world to be fast. So he gets caught up in an illegal street race, sucked up into a nitrous charged muscle car’s engine, and boom, he himself turns into a nitrous charged turbo snail!
This afternoon, as my son sits on the living room floor making lego turbo snails and racing them around, I thought I would treat him to a fun milkshake, so I made these chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream milkshakes for us.
These fun milkshakes are super easy, and don’t worry, there’s no raw cookie dough involved in these cookie dough milkshakes, so they are safe to serve your little ones. I just used cookie dough ice cream, milk and International Delight’s New Cold STone Creamery Hot For Cookie coffee creamer. The taste of warm chocolate cookies and melted ice cream brings this milkshake to life.

Yield: Serves 1
Combine ice cream, milk and hot for cookie coffee creamer in blender. Blend on high until well-combined.
Pour milkshake into serving glass and garnish with whipped topping and chocolate chips.
