There’s a few old recipes that just can’t be improved upon. They’re perfect, simple crowd pleasers that we all know and love. One of my favorites of these type of recipes is Classic Onion Dip. It’s a staple at every get-together and family gathering, and I haven’t met one person that doesn’t love it.
Of all the ways I’ve tried to improve onion dip, the only thing that makes it better to me is bacon. But doesn’t bacon make everything better? For this dip after I mixed the onion soup mix, sour cream and mayonnaise, I just added some crumbled bacon and garnished it with green onions. You can serve this dip with an assortment of your favorite veggies, chips and crackers.
