Cobb Salad Wraps

One of the goals we set for 2019 was to make homemade lunches everyday. Even though I’m really good about making the kids their lunches, my husband and I usually get so busy during the day we often resort to fast food or just skip lunch all together. Neither way is healthy, and we both wanted to do better.

So for the past two months, I’ve been making lunches at home everyday. Whether it’s an at home weekend lunch, a workday lunch that gets eaten at red lights in the car, or a sitting at the computer answering a bazillion email lunch, it’s homemade, fresh and delicious.

One of the products that’s helped me do this is Prime Fresh Delicatessen by Smithfield. It’s a delicious premium lunch meat that makes my sandwich and wrap creations so incredibly delicious. And best of all, it’s located right in my grocer’s meat case!

Because Prime Fresh is such a high quality, whole muscle meat lunch meat, it stays fresher longer. The transparent packaging allows you to see the premium freshness and with a re-sealable zip-lock seal too, this lunch meat stays fresh all week!

Prime Fresh makes simple wraps like this so delicious! My favorite variety for this wrap is the Prime Fresh Delicatessen by Smithfield in Smoked Turkey. It pairs perfect with the crisp bacon and avocado.

To make this wrap I first start with a spinach wrap and spread on a little ranch dressing. Be sure to use a light or yogurt version to save on calories. Next I layer on the Prime Fresh Smoked Turkey and then the tomato, avocado, hard-boiled eggs and bacon.

To save some more calories, you can use turkey bacon. I’m always watching our salt intake, so I make sure to use low-sodium bacon. It tastes great and is a nice compromise between traditional bacon and turkey bacon.

To finish these, I just add some lettuce and roll them up. They’re so easy to do and packed with protein. They make perfect lunches for busy people on the run, or very hungry pre-teens like my son!

Prime Fresh comes in convenient half-pound packages, eight slices each. They are my number one go-to for everyday lunches and quick and easy dinners. There are also six great varieties – Smoked Turkey Breast (as shown here), Roast Beef, Smoked Ham, Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, Honey Ham with Natural Juices and Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast. All of these delicious flavors are are gluten free, and contain no MSG.

There’s a reason why Prime Fresh is the “#1 Fastest Growing Lunch meat in the United States*”. Be sure to check out Prime Fresh Delicatessen by Smithfield at your local grocery store and see the difference for yourself. You can find Prime Fresh in the refrigerated meat case.
