Help the Salvation Army by Liking Entenmanns on Facebook and Win Prizes

Can you believe my surprise when I found out there’s actually a National Donut Day? It’s this June 3rd, and I can’t wait for a whole day to enjoy one of my favorite sweet treats, without feeling guilty. Donuts aren’t one of those things I have attempted to make at home yet. I still like to go to one of my favorite bakeries and pick out an assortment of delicious donut treats, but no cake donuts for me. My favorite donuts are simple glazed, and maybe a chocolate. My son’s and husband’s favorite donut is chocolate with sprinkles.

And did you also know the Salvation Army is largely credited for popularizing the donut in WWI by serving them to troops? To celebrate all the good the Salvation Army does, Entenmann’s will honor the Salvation Army, and their volunteers who served donuts to troops in WWI.
In celebration of National Donut Day, Entenmann’s is giving everyone the opportunity to help those who have served our country and their families by helping us raise money for the Salvation Army.
