Save Time and Do More with Samsung and a Giveaway

~ Giveaway closed, congrats to Carolsue!~

We’ve got a new giveaway from Samsung and Blogher for a $100 Best Buy Gift Card.

samsung fridge

Can you believe this gorgeous new Samsung refrigerator? Not only can you fit a ton of groceries in it because of it’s large capacity, but it also has a very attractive and sleek design. This beautiful refrigerator has ice and water through the door, and it produces large amounts of ice. This refrigerator’s extra ice storage will ensure you have extra ice on storage at all times. And this refrigerator has 2 drawers. The bottom one is a extra large freezer, and the top one is a temperature controlled drawer with an amazing 4 zones. This counter height drawer allows you to keep meats and fish, cold drinks, deli items and snacks and wine and party dishes at just the right temperature. The zones can even be customized with the Smart Divider.

This Samsung refrigerator also has an exclusive Twin Cooling System that keeps food fresher longer, all while being an Energy Star appliance so you’ll save money on your electricity costs. It even has ultra-bright LED lighting so every corner of your refrigerator is well-lit so you can see better.
And I almost forgot to mention the best part of this refrigerator – that amazing little LCD screen. The screen uses all kinds of special apps that will make your life so much easier. You can help your kitchen stay even more organized and tidy. You can leave notes for your family, display photos from your Picasa library, mobile phone or SD card. You can also use your Google calendar to keep your family and yourself up to date with activities, appointments and more. There are also apps so you can access the huge archives of recipes from Epicurious, as well as get the latest news and weather via the Weather Bug and Associated Press.
I can imagine how much cleaner and tidier this would make our family’s kitchen. There would be no more scattered messy notes on the refrigerator, and I could check the weather and news quickly as I make breakfast in the morning. I also would never have to run to the computer in the family room to check for a recipe when it’s right there at my fingertips on the refrigerator. I could tweet and update our family’s calendar, all while cooking and not missing a beat. It would allow me more time to spend playing with my son and enjoying quality family time.

All of us mom’s are doing more and more these days. Thanks to Samsung, there are some very technologically advanced devices to help us achieve more in less time. This way we can spend a little more time with our families and perhaps spend more time on ourselves. Maybe get that mani/pedi you’ve been putting off? A nice massage? Getting your hair done? Or maybe just escaping to the tub with a glass of wine and a good book?

This refrigerator just about has it all. But in my fancy dream appliance land, this refrigerator would also have a self-cleaning cycle. I have always disliked cleaning the fridge. It’s the one chore in the kitchen that I always put off. For a chance to win a $100 Best Buy gift card what feature would your dream refrigerator have?

  1. I have a Samsung refrigerator and I’m pretty sure it is my dream fridge. I am in love with the no-finger print stainless steel front, all of the storage space, and the huge freezer drawer. I guess if I could have one more feature, it would be to have the counter height drawer. Amazing. Ahh…

My dream fridge has endless ice – I am an ice fiend! – glass shelves that pull out, tons of space, filtered air and water, and is wonderfully energy efficient. This is fridge nirvana. And NOT stainless steel!! (I know, shoot me, but my other appliances are black, and I abhor smudges!):)

  129. Cj — August 12, 2011 @ 1:36 pm

The fridge, the fridge would keep tally (crazy i know — don’t think a computer on the planet can keep up with my family of 8!)of what is in the fridge, grocery list, recipe list to match the grocery list, coupons/sales for the stores I initially input and match those sales to my list, a list of favorites for each of the family members…

oh yeah, and somehow freezer self cleaning and self adjusting — we stock up and then we are bare bones — a fridge that can set it’s zones accordingly — perfection!

  130. David Hampton — August 12, 2011 @ 4:01 pm

I’d really like a microwave that sensed what I put into it, so it would cook at the PERFECT temperature for the perfect time. No more burned or bad food!

  131. Chelsei Ryan — August 12, 2011 @ 6:04 pm

My dream fridge would be one that is stainless steal and finger print proof. It would have a child drawer that is easy to pull out that can be filled with snacks and juice. All other parts of the fridge would have a lock system that you press a keycode in to open.

I didn’t know I needed a fridge with apps until just now! How cool is that? I think that pretty much sums up my dream fridge!

  134. Tricia @Nightowlmama — August 12, 2011 @ 11:34 pm

My Dream fridge would have a button to make Margaritas different flavors and offer the option of blended or on the rocks.

My dream fridge would be large enough to hold all my food, and would keep my frozen food frozen. My current fridge lets my frozen food melt.

  142. Cheryl Rahkonen — August 14, 2011 @ 1:47 pm

My dream refrigerator would be quite intelligent. It would be self-cleaning, self-organizing and the doors would not open for anyone under 4 feet tall. I have a problem with my grandson wreaking havoc in my refrigerator and then leaving the door open.

  143. Bruce — August 14, 2011 @ 5:27 pm

My dream appliance would be a washing machine that automatically dries your clothes for you without having to move them to another machine. An added bonus would be somehow hanging up the clothes for me or laying them flat so they don’t wrinkle.

  154. Amy D. — August 15, 2011 @ 12:27 pm

I love the idea of a self-cleaning feature, but what if it was just stain-guarded so that spills and clumps of food just slid right off of the surface into some sort of catch basket or gutter? yes, a refrigerator with gutters would look odd, but detach and rinse and you’re good to go! I’m in love with this fridge and ours (1986) is on it’s last leg…

  155. Stacy — August 15, 2011 @ 12:43 pm

My dream fridge would have not only an ice dispenser and a water dispenser, but it would also dispense fountain beverages and beer (for my husband).

  165. Adrienne — August 16, 2011 @ 9:58 am

It would be cool if the fridge could give you reminders on when food in certain storage bins need to be used by — rather than remembering when you’re throwing out stinky expired items!!

Thanks for hosting this giveaway 🙂

  166. Myne Whitman — August 17, 2011 @ 8:49 pm

  168. Thomas Ho — August 18, 2011 @ 7:05 am

My dream feature would be an app to help me maintain an inventory of what’s in the refrigerator & especially the freezer!

  169. Debra F — August 18, 2011 @ 3:01 pm

My dream refrigerator would season and/or marinate my food for me. You get home from the supermarket – throw your meat in a shoot, press a button saying how you’d like it seasoned and it would get it all ready for you when you are ready to cook it.

  170. Kate — August 18, 2011 @ 9:13 pm

A slushie maker built right into the fridge door; or a popsicle dispenser because we go through a ton of them in the summer with the kids.
