My family loves taco night! We’ve started the Tuesday night tradition of having tacos every week. And every week I try and make something new and different for my family. Tacos are so much fun and so versatile!
This week I made slow cooker brisket tacos. These are super easy and everyone in my family absolutely loved them! I just start with a fresh brisket and add it to my slow cooker with some taco seasoning and a little beef broth. Then just turn it to low and let it cook all day until it’s nice and tender.
Then after it’s slow cooked all day, you just take it out and cut it against the grain so it’s super tender!
I like to use corn tortillas that I’ve warmed in the skillet with a little oil.
Then I top them with a little freshly chopped cilantro and diced red onion.
I also love that fresh Mexican cheese, queso fresco. It crumbles so nicely over tacos!
And of course taco night wouldn’t be taco night without Pace® Medium Picante Sauce and Pace® Chunky Salsa Medium.
For these tacos, I used Pace® Chunky Salsa Medium. It has a wonderful flavor that everyone loves and is the perfect compliment to these brisket tacos!

I purchased both for Pace® Medium Picante Sauce and Pace® Chunky Salsa Medium at Walmart using the grocery pickup option. I easily placed them in my cart when I was shopping for my other weekly groceries.
Then I just scheduled a time to pickup my groceries and headed over to Walmart to pick them up! The pickup area is so nice and the employees are so wonderful!

Slow Cooker Brisket Tacos

FOR THE BRISKET
- 1 (1 1/2-2lb) fresh brisket
- 1 package taco seasoning (pre-packaged or homemade)
- 1/2 cup beef stock
FOR THE TACOS
- Pace® Chunky Salsa Medium
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup crumbled queso fresco (fresh white Mexican cheese)
- 12 corn tortillas
Add ingredients for the brisket to slow cooker and turn to low. Cook for 8 - 10 hours.
When brisket is done, remove and slice thinly agaisnt the grain.
Warm corn tortillas as directed on package.
Assemble tacos by topping corn tortillas with brisket, onion, cilantro, cheese and Pace® Chunky Salsa Medium.
