Nothing says summer like lemonade. When I’,m not making regular lemonade, and sometimes limeade, I love to add strawberry puree to my lemonade. It make it so delicious and even more nutritious.

Yield: Serves 4
6 lemons, juiced
1 pint strawberries
2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups water
1. Juice lemons and add juice to a 2 quart pitcher. Place strawberries and 2 cups water in blender. Blend until smooth. Add to pitcher.
2. Add 1/2 cup sugar and 2 cups water to a small saucepan, and heat until it dissolves. Let cool and add to pitcher. Fill the rest of the 2 quart pitcher with water and stir well.
Makes 2 quarts.
