Even though school started this week, it’s still summer! It’s really warm here in Florida and we’ve been making the most of our pool, spending almost every afternoon playing in it and keeping cool.
As a family, we love to spend time outdoors, especially in the water! My older son, daughter and I love to play and swim in the pool. My husband and I always take turns with my youngest son either holding him or letting him play on his water mat.
Because it’s so hot, we spend every afternoon after school and homework in the pool up until mid or late December! Our winters in Florida last 4 – 6 weeks. And spring and fall are virtually non-existent that means summer near all year long!

These are so good and perfect for an appetizer spread with veggies and your favorite chips and tortillas. Pretzels are also great dip items to have on hand!
Playing in the pool always makes us hungry, especially the kids. I love having this pool float so we can now snack without leaving the pool. It’s so much fun!
