Christmas Pizza Bagel Wreaths

I saw these adorable Christmas tree wreaths on Weelicious.com the other day, and knew I had to make them for my son too. They are too cute, so simple and tasty too.

This recipe was created for Babble’s Family Kitchen.

Christmas Pizza Bagel Wreaths

Ingredients:

1 small bag baby spinach
1 cup chopped broccoli
salt
olive oil
roasted red peppers, from a jar, sliced thin
4 bagels
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup jarred pizza sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Preheat a large skillet and drizzle with olive oil. Saute spinach with a little salt. Remove from pan and set aside. Drizzle pan with olive oil again and add chopped broccoli to pan. Add salt to taste. Saute until deep green. Remove from pan and set aside.

Separate bagels and lie on a cookie sheet. Spread pizza sauce on bagel. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella. Then top with broccoli or spinach. Arrange two slices of roasted red peppers like a bow.

Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

These are the healthier and maybe the prettiest Christmas wreath I’ve seen lately.
    Happy Holidays Angie!

Very nice presentation. I love how the bell peppers and broccoli make perfect Christmas wreaths. Not to mention how they could do for April Fool’s day. This recipe gives me a lot of ideas for holidays. I love how “veggie” they are! Aside from the characteristic of healthy ingredients, this pizza bagel recipe also gives chefs unlimited ways to explore art and presentation. Great post!
