Cream Cheese Jalapeno Stuffed Sliders

cream cheese stuffed sliders

Sliders are the new “it” burger in our house. It’s a great way to still eat 2 burgers like we use to do when we were young and had super fast metabolisms. Now we can still eat two mini sized burgers, and not have it go straight to our midsections. These are also great for my son, because the tiny burgers are perfect for his little hands. He has a real issue with large sandwiches falling apart. His type-A personality just can’t handle it.

I was recently asked to partner with PHILADELPHIA in their Spicy Jalapeno Blogger Program, using their new NEW SPICY JALAPENO cream cheese. I love PHILADELPHIA cream cheese, and I can’t get enough spicy foods, so I just couldn’t turn them down. We always have regular cream cheese in the fridge. It’s perfect for bagels, toast, fruit and adding a rich creaminess to sauces without all the fat of heavy cream. I couldn’t wait to try their new spicy jalapeno version.

Let me tell you, this jalapeno cream cheese packs a punch. It’s spicy, I mean spicy. If you love spice as much as I do and are frequently let down by the inadequacy of supposedly spicy jalapeno foods like me, you’re going to fall in love with this, because it’s just that good.

To showcase how good this spicy cream cheese is, I decided to stuff it in a slider-sized burger. It adds a wonderful spicy kick and delicious creaminess to my sliders. For even more spice, use the cream cheese spread on the bread like you would mayonnaise. You will not be disappointed, just have a tall glass of water near by, because this stuff is spicy!

PHILADELPHIA cream cheese has been making America’s favorite cream cheese since 1872. What makes PHILADELPHIA so special? It’s their four fundamental standards:

  • Fresh local milk and real wholesome cream. PHILADELPHIA uses milk sourced from local farmers.
  • From farm to our fridge in just SIX days. Fresh milk from nearby farms is made into cream cheese and refrigerated at PHILADELPHIA creameries in Beaver Dam, Wis. and Lowville, NY in just six days.
  • Limited use of preservatives. NO preservatives in the cream cheese brick varieties.
  • Real ingredients. For their flavored spreads, PHILADELPHIA uses fresh ingredients, like jalapenos, nuts, honey, and herbs.
