Slow Cooker Cherry Dump Brownies
This brownie takes the idea behind a dump cake, and uses a slow cooker and brownie mix instead of cake mix. The result is an ooey gooey oh so delicious hot chocolate brownie and cherry mess.
Yield: Serves 4
Slow Cooker Cherry Dump Brownies
Ingredients:
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
1 box (1 lb 2.4 oz) Betty Crocker® Original Supreme Premium brownie mix
1 cup butter, cut into tablespoon-size pieces
Directions:
Spread the cherry pie filling in a layer on the bottom of a slow cooker. Empty the dry cake mix into the slow cooker on top of the cherry filling. Add the butter on top of the dry cake mix.
Set the slow cooker to Low, and cook for 3 - 4 hours. Spoon the dessert into bowls, and let cool about 5 minutes to cool the hot pie filling before eating.
