Celebrate National Dog Week and a Giveaway

Guess what? It’s National Dog Week! The week we show our furbabies just how much we love and cherish them. My big boy Coco is such a wonderful addition to our family. We have so much fun with him. And although he loves us all, he’s definitely a Mama’s boy. He follows me all around the house, and is always under my feet. He’d be in my lap if I let him. (I have to confess, sometimes I do.) Sometimes I even let him sit him lay with me on the pool float. He’s such a sweet thing.
To celebrate National Dog Week, Baneful sent us this wonderful little goodie box filled with delicious foods and fun toys. Coco’s like I’m trying to be patient Mom, but can we play already?” He was giving me lots of sighs and wipers as I tried to get this shot.

His favorite this is to play fetch in the pool. He’s such a strong swimmer.
My husband and son are throwing the ball for him, and off he goes!
He’s got it!
He swims so fast in the pool. We try to race him across the pool, and only my husband can keep up with him. He’s a beast!
I’d like to say that he eagerly jumps off the deep end for his ball, but he’s like his Mom. He almost always uses the steps, and then swims the length of the pool for the ball. At least he gets more exercise this way!

Coco always gets out of the pool before he gives me the ball back. Sometimes he kind of kets an attitude, but he’s just playing 🙂
When he got tired of swimming back and forth, we paused for a snack. Here I put some Beneful kibble in this cute little ball. He had fun trying to get the food out of it!
