Grilled chicken, broccoli and Pepper pizza
We love trying all sorts of different pizzas. We’ve both been experimenting with different flavor combinations since we worked at a pizza shop in high school. It’s alot of fun, especially since we have pizza at least once a week.
When Pillsbury contacted me, along with a few other bloggers, to come up with a pepper themed pizza using their new Artisan pizza dough, I couldn’t wait. We absolutely love the new Artisan whole wheat pizza crust. It’s super simple to use, plus it’s whole wheat.
I found lots of peppers at our local farmer’s market that I used on this pizza: bell peppers, hot bananas, sweet bananas, serranos and sweet snacking peppers.
This pizza turned into a pepper palooza, in a very tasty way. If you want more meat, add some jalapenos. I also added grilled chicken for protein and and broccoli florets.
After I got the pizza all together, i just baked it in the oven at 400° for about 20 minutes.
This pizza was also chosen for Pillsbury’s Fire Up For Peppers Challenge. Head over to the Pillsbury site and pick out your favorite, this pizza or an equally awesome one of a kind creation from Adam and Joanne of Inspired Taste, then pin your favorite to Pinterest!
