Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Do you have some picky eaters in life? I have just the thing, chicken nuggets. These are seasoned with dill, and so good.

Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients:

Wet Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in 1 inch pieces
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Dry Ingredients
2 cups self rising flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Vegetable or Peanut Oil for frying

Directions:

1. Preheat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer over medium heat or to 350 degrees. Combine chopped chicken, eggs and spices (for the wet ingredients) in a large bowl. Mix well and let set for about 15 minutes. Combine dry ingredients together. Then take nuggets out and bread in flour and spices.

2. Drop one by one in hot oil and fry until golden. When done, drain on paper towels.

3. For sauce, combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with a whisk well until mayonnaise isn’t lumpy.

Serves 4 adults.
