Italian Fried Pork Chops

We’re finally making some progress on all the projects we have going on around the house. This past week we started on our vintage travel trailer’s seats and cushions. I’ve also started sewing the new curtains. It’s so exciting after all the woodwork and repairs to start doing the fun decorating stuff. We can’t wait for our fist camping trip. We’re going to start making reservations at all of the local state parks this week too.

Because we’ve been so busy with things, including all my son’s schools activities, it doesn’t leave a lot of time for dinner. In fact one of my favorite decor items I added to the camper was a wall plaque that says, “If you are what you eat, then I’m fast, cheap and easy.” That couldn’t be more true nowadays. I’m always on the lookout for nutritious and wholesome dishes that I can serve my family that are also budget friendly.

Recently I’ve found these Birds Eye® Protein Blends at Walmart. They make wonderful side dishes for a quick dinner. The best part is I can buy several packs and store them in the freezer and have them on hand whenever I need them. They make a great addition to simple dinners like steamed fish, grilled chicken or baked pork loin.

My kids really like Birds Eye® Protein Blends too. They help incorporate more vegetables into my families diet, and more protein too! I feel good about serving them to my family as part of our family dinners.

Birds Eye® Protein Blends come in these flavors:

  • Southwest Style
  • California Style
  • Italian Style
  • Asian Style

To go with one of my family’s favorite dinners, Fried Pork Chops, I added Italian Style Birds Eye® Protein Blends as a side dish. Serving this along with a quick and easy salad makes a delicious and easy weeknight dinner that the whole family loves.

I get these Birds Eye® Protein Blends at a great price at Walmart. You can also get a $0.50 off. Birds Eye® Protein Blends products via the Ibotta offer.
