Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
We’re halfway through the Christmas break now, and it’s been such a great holiday. We stayed home and had christmas here, rather than going to see family. With the kids and gifts, it makes sense for us to have Christmas at home. We’ve been playing with our toys for the past few days and having the most fun.
Santa brought the kids lots of fun new things this year. My son got a robot that he built. And my daughter got lots of little baby toys and a walker from Grandma. The pretty pink walker seems to be her favorite of all.
Later today we’ll be going to meet family for our winter vacation. I can hardly wait. There’s still lots of errands and packing that need to be done today. We’re renting a cabin, so we’ll be cooking together instead of going out to eat. So I’ll also be putting together a meal plan, a grocery list and thinking up some desserts to make while we’re away.
One easy dessert that I’ll be making again are these simple chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. These were one of the many Christmas cookies that I made last week, and we’re one of the first to disappear. I picked up the Betty Crocker peanut butter cookie mix at Walmart where I got a great value.
All you do is start with Betty Croker peanut butter cookie mix. You know the kind you find in the bag? Then just mix it according to package directions. Then mix in a bag of chocolate chips. It’s that easy! Then just bake according to package directions, and you have warm from the oven, gooey, gooey peanut butter chocolate heaven. Enjoy!
