Butter Pecan Iced Coffee
Fall is right around the corner, well for most of you. We’ve still got about three months of summer. In Florida, we have summer, summer and more summer, with a few weeks of cool nights sometime in January. Not that I’m complaining though, I love warm weather. The only complaint I have is that when you need a pair of sandals in September because there’s still three months of sandal season, good luck finding them. Almost every store here stocks us with winter clothes and boots by the end of August.
So because it’s still so warm, but yet I wanted to experience the idea of fall, I made this lovely butter pecan ice coffee. As a kid, fall meant gathering pecans, freezing pecans, and taking pecans to sell. It also meant I could gorge on as many tasty little pecans as I wanted. I absolutely loved them, and still do. I’ll eat them in just about anything, but my favorite indulgence is Butter Pecan ice cream. So when I found this new Butter Pecan International Delight Coffee Creamer, my heart skipped a beat.
International Delight’s Southern Butter Pecan Coffee Creamer has a wonderful flavor reminiscent of pecan pralines or pecan pie. I’ve been enjoying this ice coffee for several afternoons, and can’t wait to try it in a butter pecan coffee milkshake. It also tastes amazing in hot coffee in the morning too!
